A ring of police officers, firefighters and EMS surrounded the reservoir at Cobbs Hill Park Thursday night.
It was also a way to honor all of the men and women of law enforcement during this COVID-19 crisis.
All the vehicles turned their emergency lights and sirens on in unison, and bagpipes played “Amazing Grace.”
This week is National Police Officers Week, designated by President John F. Kennedy in 1962.
