Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) – Former Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio announced she is running for Rochester City Council.

Astacio previously ran for city council in 2019, falling to Jose Peo for the Democratic nomination in the Northwest District.

According to a Facebook post, Astacio has a master’s degree in social work and is a practicing attorney, which she says makes her “uniquely qualified to serve as a member of city council.”
