J. Cole is expanding the world surrounding his latest musical era with the release of The Fall-Off Magazine, a limited-edition print publication created as a tribute to hip-hop journalism and culture. The 144-page magazine offers fans a physical collection focused on the artists, ideas and moments that have shaped the genre.

Commissioned by Cole, the publication features original reporting, photography, artwork and design contributions from more than 60 writers, photographers, illustrators and other creatives. The magazine includes interviews with Cole himself as well as artists including Lauryn Hill, GloRilla, J.I.D and Larry June, along with retrospective pieces examining influential debut albums from rap history.

The project is led editorially by Bonsu Thompson, an award-winning journalist and producer whose career has included work with major hip-hop publications. Thompson described the magazine as an effort to preserve storytelling within the culture, saying, “Like all essential creative by and for a culture, this collector’s edition arrives when most needed by its audience. Hip-Hop journalism has somehow expanded, diversified, atrophied and become amorphous all at once.”

The magazine arrives as Cole hits the road on his The Fall-Off World Tour, a global arena run supporting his seventh studio album, The Fall-Off. The tour will visit cities across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
