A New York lawmaker is calling on the state to investigate a local nursing home after a reported number of COVID-19 deaths.

New York State Assemblyman Steve Hawley from Orleans County wants the New York State Department of Health to look into Villages of Orleans Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Hawley says all 14 deaths in Orleans County stem from that facility.

He also claims improper sanitizing and reports of a demoralized staff.
